NOT COOL.

Busybee

My apologies for not posting for a while. Life's been busy. We're at the end of January though, so it looks like I SURVIVED!!!

I'm not gonna go into every single thing we've been doing this month, don't worry. What I am writing about is the pigsty that is our home right now. I am itching to clean the whole house, top to bottom, but I can't completely.

My name is Katrina...

and I have an addiction to something that has several names.

Movies, new and old

Sometimes Brother and me catch a movie on TV that we haven't seen since our childhood, and for Memory Lane's sake, we watch it again.

And watching these movies as adults (because apparently that's what we are now?) sheds a whole new light on the movies. It also changes so much because we didn't get half the jokes as kids. We watched a lot of movies as kids that weren't always appropriate for children. Brother knew how to spell Terminator "tee, ee, aw, em, eye, en, ay, tee, oh, aw" in Senior Kindergarten. I learned what a "miserable, vomitous mass" was way before anyone else knew. And we both knew that Eddie Murphy's royal penis was clean.

Boxing Day

I had to blog about this because I took pictures just for it. Haha! (Stop judging me, you know you do it too.)

So, as has become the tradition, every Boxing Day morning, our (my sisters and me, and this year, our cousin too) crazy husbands wake up after 2 or so hours of sleep and creep out to line up for Boxing Day deals. They declare a "winner" too -- the man who spent the most money and got the most stuff. Really, it should be the guy who spent the most money on stuff that'll increase his electric bill. Just kidding. Mr.S and I were thinking of making a trophy that can be circulated every year to the "winner" in the shape of a massive gift card.

Anyway, that was their Boxing Day.
